Individual, and couples counseling are available by video or phone and will be available in my new St Johns office (in the future when we do not have to wear masks inside!).
Approach: I work primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy theory though am trained in Dialectic Behavioral Therapy and therefore draw heavily on a Mindfulness approach. I work with mothers/parents to reduce stress, improve parenting and relationship skills, and thrive in all aspects of their lives. My practice is not limited to parents. I work with clients ages 12 years and up on issues including depression, anxiety, work stress, life transitions, grief, loss, and addiction. I believe that my clients are wise and intuitive and thus have their answers within. By working together we will uncover and craft a meaningful path forward!
Insurance: I am paneled with Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, Pacific Source, Moda, First Choice Health, and Aetna. My billing service will contact you to obtain insurance information, verify your benefits, including TeleHealth coverage and then submit claims. I suggest checking into coverage even if your carrier is not listed above, as I find that I am paneled with some additional plans due to changing contracts within insurance companies.
Scheduling: I schedule telehealth sessions with clients Monday-Thursday and will offer in person sessions in the office on Tuesday, and Thursdays in the future! I ask for 24-hours prior notice if you need to cancel or change the time of an appointment, otherwise you will be charged a missed session fee. I will make reasonable efforts to reschedule sessions, which are canceled in a timely manner.

Once we schedule, I will send you encrypted online intake forms, an invite to my V-See video platform, and will have my billing service follow up for benefit verification.
